Field Hockey Falls To No. 19 Ohio 2-1

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville field hockey team lost to #19 Ohio University 2-1 Friday at Cardinal Stadium.
Ohio's Jenn Watt scored midway through the first half on an assist from Ali Johnstone to give the Bobcats a 1-0 halftime lead. Louisville's Lainey Habeeb evened the score when she connected on a penalty corner with an assist from Danielle Barr. Ohio's Andrea Voros recorded the game winner on a penalty corner with assists from Johnstone and Kim Wickman.
Louisville goalie Colleen Finn collected eleven saves.
Ohio, ranked 19th in the nation and first in the Mid-American Conference improves to 12-6, 7-1. U of L falls to 5-12, 1-6.
The Cards will entertain #20 Kent State on Saturday, Oct. 23 at noon at Cardinal Stadium for their final home game.
