Wadsworth Construction Chosen To Build Cardinal Club

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Cardinal Club and University Clubs of America (UCA), announced today the selection of Wadsworth Golf Construction Company to build the 18-hole championship golf course for the Cardinal Club in Simpsonville beginning March 2000. The Cardinal Club is being built for U of L fans, supporters, alumni, students and faculty and is home of the Louisville men's and women's golf teams.
Wadsworth is known throughout the golf construction industry as "America's premier golf course builder". In business for over 40 years, Wadsworth has built over 500 golf courses in 40 states and five countries. Some of the most notable to Louisville is Valhalla and Hunting Creek. Including renovations to Augusta National, Wadsworth has built some of the most heralded courses in the world: Bear Creek, Desert Pines, Harbour Town Golf Links, Innisbrook, Inverness, Troon, and Turnberry.
