NEW ORLEANS - The University of Louisville women's golf team finished 12th of 15 teams against stiff competition at the Green Wave Women's Golf Classic in New Orleans.
Host Tulane University shot a 309, 305, 309 for a 923 to win the event at Lakewood Country Club. The Cardinals shot a 333, 317, 317 for a 967.
Meredith Ward of Vanderbilt shot 74, 71, 73, 218 to win the individual honors. Louisville's top finisher was Cindy Pasechnik, who finished tied for 26th with a 238 (79-77-82).
