Women's Golf in Fifth Place at Pine Needles

Southern Pines, NC -- The University of Louisville women's golf team shot a 305 on the second day of the Pine Needles Women's Collegiate Tournament on Tuesday to fall to fifth place with a 301, 305 - 606 score.
The Cardinals' Cindy Pasechnik shot a second round 75 after posting a 72 the day previous and is now in 7th place. She is five strokes off the leader. Kentucky golfer Rachel Lester is tied for the lead with a 144 to help the Wildcats to a third place position.
South Florida moved into a tie for first with Alabama at 595.
Louisville's Katherine Mowat is now 21st with a second round swcore of 76.
The final round gets underway Wednesday morning.
