2007-08: Dean's Scholar ... Red & Black Scholar ... Spent her first collegiate rowing season in the Cardinals' novice eight boat ... Was in the three-seat for the Cards' second-place finish at the BIG EAST Championships as well as the silver medal winning performance at the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships ... Opened the spring in the one-seat against Indiana and Tennessee ... Opened the fall in the one-seat for the Cards' novice eight win at the Head of the Eagle Regatta in Indianapolis.
Prior to UofL: Did not row in high school ... Played four years of softball and freshman basketball ... Earned All-Star honors as a junior and senior at Sacred Heart and won the home run award as a junior.
Personal: Born on May 3, 1989 in Louisville, Ky. ... Daughter of Gary and Mary Ann Anderson ... Has two brothers, Matthew and Eric ... Undecided on major at U of L ... Post-college ambition is attend graduate school and study abroad, and possibly work for ESPN ... Hobbies and outside interests include hanging out, meeting new people, movies and music ... Chose the University of Louisville because the campus is large and diverse and the city is a great place to live ... Says the best thing about the city of Louisville is the combination of a laid back city with lots of people, many who you know, but also many you still have the chance to meet ...
