Junior: At NCAAs, Anna was an integral part of the relay effort. She was part of the 200-free relay that made school history by finaling. With Anna swimming the third leg, the Cardinals finished seventh with a time of 1:28.44 which was also a school record. At NCAAs, she swam anchor for the 200-medley relay foursome that set a school record with a time of 1:40.38. At the FINA World Championship Trials, she swam the 200M-individual medley in 2:21.63. Anna earned All-BIG EAST honors. and helped set three school records. At the BIG EAST, Anna won the 200-IM in 1:59.94. She also swam in the A-Final in the 100-free with a time of 50.26 and was in the consols in the 100-breast, going 1:03.97. She helped set two school records as part of relay teams. In the 400-free relay, she swam second with a split of 49.28 as the Cardinals posted a time of 3:18.16 and won the A-Final and set a new school mark . She was also part of the winning 200-free relay that took the BIG EAST title with a time of 1:29.46 with her swimming the third leg. The Cardinals were runners up in the 800-free relay with Anna as leadoff swimmer, going 7:17.13.
Sophomore: At BIG EAST, Anna helped win the 800-free relay as the third swimmer in the water for the Cardinals as the foursome posted a time of 7:16.14. She was also part of the 400-medley relay team that finished fourth with a time of 3:45.90. She added points with a sixth place finish in the 100-breast (1:03.41) and was fourth in the 200-breast (2:16.46).
Freshman: As a freshman, Anna made Olympic Trial Qualifying times with her swim in the 200-meter breaststroke at the Conoco Phillips USA Swimming National Championships. She swam a 2:35.04 LCM to finish 32nd overall. She was named U of L's Freshman Athlete of the Year and set school record in the 50-free and the 100-free. She helped set the 200-medley relay mark as well. She finaled in the 50-free for the Cardinals at the BIG EAST. She scored points at the BIG EAST by making the B-finals in the 100-breast the 100-free and the finals in the 200-medley relay and the 200-free relay. She was a 2007 US Open participant for U of L.
Prep: She comes to U of L from Holy Spirit High School and swam for Crimson Tide Aquatics for coach John Boxmeyer. In 2005, she qualified in five events for the National Swim Coaches Junior National in Orlando, Fla. She placed 16th and 17th, respectively, in the 100- and 200-breast at Speedo Summer Sectionals in Auburn. She won the breaststroke races at the Southeastern Regional Long Course Championship and received the Don Gambril Achievement Award. Dishuck was a member of the Crimson Tide Aquatics 400-freestyle relay team that qualified for the Senior Nationals . She won the 200- breast in the 2006 Southeastern SC Championships and the 100-breast in the 2005 Southeastern SC Championships. She was also a USA Swimming Scholastic All-American.
Personal: She is the daughter of John and Laura Dishuck. She plans on majoring in chemistry. She was born March 5, 1988.
