Darren Yeagle joined the University of Louisville men's soccer coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in February of 2020.
Yeagle joined the Cardinals after serving the last eight seasons as an assistant coach at nearby Spalding University, an NCAA Division III program. While at Spalding, Yeagle helped the Golden Eagles to a pair of conference championships, including its first in program history. Under his guidance, four players were named the conference Player of the Year, in addition to coaching the program's first All-American.

Yeagle also coaches for Kentucky Fire Juniors and served as a coaching director with Mockingbird Valley Soccer Club. Previously, he was an assistant for a season at his alma mater, Trinity High School, where he led them to the KHSAA State Tournament and a Top-5 ranking in Kentucky.

As a player, Yeagle posts an impressive resume, including four caps and one goal with the United States U20 Men's National Team. He played collegiately at Indiana University (2005-09), where in 2006 he was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, an NCAA First Team Freshmen All-American, and was a Second Team All-Big Ten selection. During his time in Bloomington, he led the Hoosiers to two Big Ten Championships, a berth in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, and two trips to the Sweet Sixteen.

Prior to his time at Indiana, Yeagle was named the 2004 Kentucky High School Player of the Year and 2005 Gatorade Kentucky Player of the Year, in addition to earning NSCAA High School All-American honors. He helped his youth club team, Javanon '87, to a USYSA National Championship in 2006, where he earned the Golden Boot Award, and also led them to USYSA Region II Championships in 2003 and 2006.
