2022-23: At Rivanna Romp, she coxed the Varsity 8 boat that turned in a time of 13:37.9 for seventh in the 20-boat field. Ellee also coxed the V4 boat that finished fifth with a time of 14:49.5 in a tightly-bunched top five at Rivanna Romp. On Saturday morning at the ORCI, Grosser coxed the V8 boat that turned in a time of 6:28.656 and third place. In the Saturday afternoon session at ORCI, Grosser coxed the V8 boat that finished third with a time of 6:28.010. In the Sunday session at ORCI, she coxed the V8 boat that finished third, clocking in at 6:38.907. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she coxed the V8 boat with a second-place finish with a time of 6:37.20. In the grand final of the Sunshine State Invitational, she coxed the V8 boat to a fourth-place finish with a time of 6:35.53. Against Michigan in a head-to-head matchup, Grosser coxed the V8 boat to a second-place finish with a time of 6:40.08. In the prelims of the V8 race at the ACC Championship, she coxed the Cardinals to a fourth-place finish to advance to the petite final with a time of 6:45.634. She was in the V8 boat that won the petite finals of the ACC Championship with a time of 6:43.228. Named as a CRCA Scholar Athlete. She was named to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team.
2021-22: Elle Grosser coxed the 2V8 boat that beat Notre Dame witha time of 6:33.002 on Day 1 at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational. On Day 2 of the ORCI, she coxed the V8 boat that finished third with a time of 6:33.270. At the Sunshine State Invitational, she coxed the V8 boat that finished sixth in the grand final with a time of 6:35.74. At the Lake Wheeler Invitational, Ellee was on the V8 boat that finished second with a time 6:41.725. In head-to-head competition with Michigan, she was on the V8 boat that turned in a time of 6:57.22. At the ACC Championships held at Clemson in 2022, she was in the V8 boat that finished sixth in the grand final with a time of 6:36.284. An outstanding student, she was named as scholar athletes for the 2022 season by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA). 2020-21: Ellee coxed the V8 boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational, the V8 boat versus Notre Dame, and the 2V8 boat at the Big Ten Invitational. She coxed the 2V8 boat versus Michigan/Iowa. She was the coxswain in the 2V8 boat at ACCs that finished second in the Petite Final. An excellent student, she was a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, was Red & Black Scholar, and was a Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 Dean's Scholar. She is also a CRCA Scholar Athlete and belongs to Chi Alpha Sigma a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student-athletes who excel both on and off the field of competition. She was named to the ACC Honor Roll and All-ACC Academic.
Prior to UofL: She rowed for Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club where she coxed at CJRC for four years. Ellee aced in the Women’s LTWT 4+ in 2018 at the Youth Nationals. In 2019, she was on the V8+ boat at Youth Nationals.
Personal: Daughter of Chris and Molly Grosser. Born on February 21, 2001. Has three siblings, Jack, Sarah, and Maree.
