Louisville is 4-0 on the road in ACC play this season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The No. 9/10 Louisville women's basketball team (17-3, 7-0 ACC) will close out the week with another challenging road environment when they head to Raleigh to play NC State (13-5, 6-1 ACC) on Sunday, January 18. The Cardinals and Wolfpack are set to square off at 1 p.m. ET and it will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
Sunday's matchup has conference standings implications as the Cardinals and Wolfpack are separated by just one game in the ACC standings. The Cardinals are tied with Duke at 7-0 and NC State is just a game back at 6-1 as conference play ramps up. NC State is 4-0 at home in ACC play while the Cards are 4-0 on the road in conference play this season. The Wolfpack have won 16-straight home games against ACC teams, dating back to the 2023-24 season.

The Cardinals put together another great performance against a ranked opponent in their 79-66 win over No. 23/22 Notre Dame on Thursday in South Bend. It was their third-straight win over a ranked opponent and they are 3-3 against ranked teams this season. The win snapped Notre Dame's home winning streak, as they started the year 10-0 at home.
Louisville only had eight turnovers in the win over the Irish. It was the fewest turnovers an opponent has had against Notre Dame since Feb. 27, 2020, a span of 174 games. Hannah Hidalgo came into the game averaging an NCAA-best 5.9 steals per game and she had just one against the Cards. It was only the third time in her career she has had one steal or less and two of those times have come against Louisville.
Reyna Scott had a career-night against the Irish as she finished with a team-best 20 points on 9-for-13 shooting. Scott tied a career high with three steals and had a team-best three assists. Tajianna Roberts had 19 points and tied a season high with 4-for-5 from behind the arc. She had back-to-back threes in the fourth quarter as the Cards stretched their lead to double digits and put the game out of reach.
