
447 Student-Athletes Named to ACC Honor Roll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville Athletics Department placed 447 student-athletes on the Atlantic Coast Conference 2024-25 Academic Honor Roll released by the league.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
The league had a record 7,945 student-athletes earn honors and Louisville was one of six schools with more than 400 student-athletes earning recognition.

In its first year of ACC competition, Stanford led all schools with 790 honorees. Duke, which has led all schools for 36 out of 38 years of the Honor Roll, had 668 Honor Roll student-athletes, while California placed 602. Virginia (567), North Carolina (557), Boston College (520), Notre Dame (471), Louisville (447) and Clemson (406) each had more than 400 student-athletes earn recognition.

UofL's student-athletes combined to produce a 3.397 GPA for the 2024 spring semester, marking the 29th straight semester with a department-wide GPA of 3.0 or better. The impressive numbers also include 99 student-athletes who finished the spring term with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Eighteen programs achieved a team grade point average of better for the spring semester, which included the football program at 3.004. Â Women's golf produced the department's highest team GPA of 3.846 while baseball held the highest team GPA of UofL's men's programs at 3.553.
