LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville Athletics Department placed 447 student-athletes on the Atlantic Coast Conference 2023-24 Academic Honor Roll released by the league on Friday.
The ACC Academic Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.
The league had a record 6,187 student-athletes earn honors and Louisville was one of seven schools with more than 400 student-athletes earning recognition.
All UofL student athletes combined to produce an average GPA of 3.0 or better for the 27th straight semester. The overall grade point average posted by student-athletes was an impressive 3.327 for 2023 spring semester.
Ten University of Louisville athletic teams posted a perfect score in the most recent single-year Division I Academic Progress Rate (APR) data collection data.

Every UofL program ranked above the required 930 minimum score for the four-year, rolling APR, which measures academic eligibility, retention and graduation for student-athletes. This year, the four-year APR score was a multi-year average of the 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23 academic years.
Nineteen of Louisville's programs recorded a multi-year score of 970 or higher, while four programs – men's basketball, women's basketball, men's golf and volleyball – maintained a perfect 1,000 multi-year score.
