Moss Wins Second Tournament; Cards Finish Third

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Sebastian Moss of the University of Louisville men's golf team won his fourth career tournament by shooting a 5-under-par to win the Fighting Irish Classic at the Warren club golf course in South Bend Indiana on Monday.
It was Moss' second win of the season after he finished in a tie at the Bearcat Invitational two weeks ago and was the fourth of his outstanding career. The senior won a pair of tournaments last season.
As a team, the Cardinals finished in third place just one shot behind second place Purdue. Notre Dame took home the tournament championship with a score of 5-under-par.
Moss outlasted Matteo Cristoni of Little Rock by one stroke. Moss ahot a final round 68 to win the tournament at 5-under-par.
Easton Johnson put forth one of his best finishes by placing seventh with a three-round score of 1-under-par, while Mads Roddik tied for 22nd place overallat 6-over-par. Cooper Claycomb finished at 8-over-par to place in a tie for 38th place, while Warren Thomis and Brady Smith tied for 53rd at 12-over-par.
The Cardinals will close the fall season at the Williams Cup on Oct. 20-22.
