Â
"I would like to welcome Elena Noguero Asensio to Louisville Women's Tennis," said Beckham. "I am really excited about Elena because she is a player who loves the sport. The biggest focus for me was finding players that are self-motivated and love putting in the time on court. Elena fits what I was looking for and then some. She came highly recommended, and she is someone that has a pretty big chip on her shoulder. She wants to show and prove to everyone how good she is and how good she will be become. I absolutely love that about her. She will have an impact in singles and doubles for a long time in this program. She knows she's coming to the highest level of tennis possible outside of the pro tour and she feels like she will thrive in this environment, which is exactly what we need in the program."
