Louisville advances to the Elite Eight for the fifth-straight tournament, the only school to make each of the last five Elite Eight's.
This is the eighth Elite Eight appearance in school history and all have come under head coach Jeff Walz.
Walz improves to 8-4 all-time in the Sweet 16 and 31-5 as the higher seeded team in the NCAA Tournament.
Louisville is 7-7 all-time against SEC teams in the NCAA Tournament.
The Cardinals have won 177 games and hold a .851 (177-31) winning percentage since the start of the 2017-18 season. The wins rank fourth and winning percentage ranks fifth in the NCAA over that span.
