The Cardinals advance to the Sweet 16 for the sixth-straight season and the 12th time in program history.
The six-straight regional appearances is the third-longest active streak in the country behind South Carolina and UConn.
This is the 10th Sweet 16 for the Cardinals since the 2011 season and that is tied for fourth-most in the country during that span.
The Cardinals are 12-2 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament under head coach Jeff Walz. The Cardinals are 12-6 all-time in the second round.
