Cards Finish Tied for Sixth at the Aggie Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Playing as an individual, Walker Franklin posted the highest finish by a University of Louisville men's golfer at the Aggie Invitational on the Traditions Course Sunday.
The Cards played two rounds on Saturday and one final on Sunday as some of the field had finish their second rounds after play was suspended late Saturday night.
Collectively, the Cardinals finished tied for sixth with North Texas after shooting 296-308-310=914 to close out the regular season. The Cardinals will compete at the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships on April 22-25 in Panama City, Fla.
Franklin tied for 13th after shooting at 10-over-par 78-73-75=226 to post his second-best finish in a UofL uniform.
Chris Francoeur closed with his best finish in the starting lineup with his performance that tied him for 15thoverall. He shot a 75-74-78=227 to end the tournament at 11-over-par.
Nick Tenuta tied for 19thoverall after he carded a 12-over 228, while Jiri Zuska finished in a tie for 28that 15-over-par. Max Kennedy tied for 43rdplace after firing a 19-over-par 235.Sebastian Moss rounded out the top five by pacing in a tie for 56thplace after shooting 22-over-par.
