Cards Set for Notre Dame Invitational

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team will travel to South Bend, Ind. this weekend for the Notre Dame Invitational. The tournament will take place from Oct. 27-Oct. 30. Teams that will be competing include Notre Dame, Michigan State, Illinois, Indiana, Northwestern, DePaul, and Western Michigan.
Senior David Mizrahi, freshman Andre' Steinbach, senior Alex Wesbrooks, and freshman Will Mayew will be making the trip for the Cards.
Mizrahi and Mayew competed as a duo at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional championships, advancing to the finals where they fell short against fellow Cardinals Natan Rodrigues and Fabien Salle. Mayew has also added six singles victories through fall play, while Mizrahi has three singles wins.
Wesbrooks has posted a 3-3 record in doubles play partnering with senior Etienne Donnet through the fall season. Steinbach has tallied two victories in both singles and doubles.
