LOUISVILLE, Ky. – University of Louisville women's basketball incoming freshman Payton Verhulst has been named to the 2021 Jordan Brand Classic roster. She is one of 30 players named to the team.
Â
The Jordan Brand Classic is a celebration of the next generation of basketball stars and features the top high school talent in the country annually. As a senior, Verhulst led Bishop Miege to a 23-1 record and a Kansas Class 4-A state championship, while averaging 20.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.8 steals, 3.6 assists, and 3.5 blocks a game.
Â
She was named a McDonald's All-American and the Kansas Player of the Year.
