
Cochran, Van Lith Named to Naismith Midseason Team

ATLANTA (January 14, 2020) – University of Louisville women's basketball signees Olivia Cochran and Hailey Van Lith were named to the 2020 Jersey Mike's Naismith Trophy for Girls High School Player of the Year 25-player Midseason Team by the Atlanta Tipoff Club.

The list includes 23 seniors and two juniors. The list of 25 will narrow further to 10 semifinalists on Feb. 4, and then to finalists on Feb. 18. The winner of the Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Trophy for Girls Player of the Year will be announced on March 10.

"The high school basketball season enters its third month, and the players competing for Girls Player of the Year are beginning to separate themselves from the pack," said Eric Oberman, executive director of the Atlanta Tipoff Club. "These 25 players represent some of the best players from across the county and the top contenders for the Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Trophy."
