These qualities are going to serve her well as she transitions from basketball, tennis, and volleyball to rowing. We've been so impressed with Cat's ability and confidence every time we've seen her play throughout the recruiting process and are very happy she will be racing for the Cardinals!

Coaches thoughts on Sophie: It was clear to the coaches and team instantly that Sophie was meant to be a Louisville Cardinal. She has unbridled passion for the sport of rowing, excitement for the future, and a massive drive to better everyone around herself. We're thrilled to have her signing with the Cards, and very much looking forward to her presence over the next four years.

She has the ability to go hard and attack in high-pressure situations while maintaining poise- a trait that will transfer well to rowing. She's a great leader and we are very excited for Evey to arrive at Louisville and blaze her own trail as a Cardinal Rower.
