- Louisville beat Georgia Tech 91-51 to improve to 17-4 on the season, 5-2 in ACC play.
- Louisville now leads the all-time series 4-0 over the Yellow Jackets.
- Louisville returns to action on Sunday, as it travels to Tampa to take on South Florida. The Cardinals won last year's meeting 67-50 in the KFC Yum! Center.
- The Cardinals lead the all-time series 28-4.

- The win marks Louisville's 100th victory in the KFC Yum! Center. It has won 88.5 percent (100-13) of its home games since moving into the arena in 2010.
- With the win, Louisville improves its home record to 13-1.
- Louisville dominated the glass, outrebounding Georgia Tech 48-30.
- The Cardinals' 39 defensive rebounds are the most by the team this season. This is the most defensive rebounds since they pulled down 41 on Dec. 15, 2014, against Old Dominion.
- The Cardinals outrebounded the Yellow Jackets by 18, which is tied for their second-largest rebounding margin of the season, and the most since they pulled down 18 more than Syracuse on Dec. 29.
- Louisville dominated the paint, scoring 40 of its 91 points and only allowed Georgia Tech to score 18 points in the area.
- Louisville's win extended its consecutive home-game winning streak in January to 28, dating back to the 2009-10 season.

- Women's basketball moved to a four-quarter format last year. In tracking the Cardinals' defensive performances, the team held opponents to single-digit points 25 times last year. Louisville added to that sum on Wednesday, holding the Jackets to two points in the second period.
- The Cardinals have held 12 of their 21 opponents this season to single digit points in at least one period.
- The two points by the Yellow Jackets in the second period is the fewest by a Louisville opponent in a period in program history.
- Louisville improves its record to 13-1 this year when scoring over 70 points, and 171-18 under coach Jeff Walz when hitting the mark.

- Louisville's 40-point margin of victory is the largest win in conference play since it beat Clemson by 42 points on Jan. 28, 2016.
- Louisville totaled 20 assists on 31 field goals. It is the sixth time the Cardinals have dished out at least 20 assists in a game this year.

- Mariya Moore recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, one block, and one assist in the victory.
- Moore's 13 points gave her 1,201 for her career, moving her past Marilyn Reckelhoff (1984-88, 1,198) into sole possession of 17th on the school's all-time scoring list. Moore now needs 14 points to pass Bria Smith (2011-15, 1,214) for 16th on the school's all-time list.
- Moore went 4 of 6 from the charity stripe, giving her 308 for her career. She needs 34 to pass Nell Knox (341, 1989-93) for sole possession of sixth on the school's all-time list.
- Moore went 3 of 4 from beyond the arc in the win and now has 179 career 3-pointers. She needs just three 3-pointers to pass Misty Smith (181, 1994-98) for sole possession of sixth on the all-time list.
- Myisha Hines-Allen recorded 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal in the victory.
- Hines-Allen's 12 points gave her 1,255 for her career, passing Sara Hammond (2011-15, 1,149) for sole possession of 13th on the school's all-time scoring list. Hines-Allen now needs 34 more points to pass Becky Burke (2008-12, 1,288) and move into sole possession of 12th place on the school's all-time scoring list.
- Hines-Allen went 4 of 6 from the field in the victory, giving her 538 made field goals in her career. She is 30 away from moving into sole possession of 10th on the school's all-time list and passing Sara Nord (567, 2000-04).
- Briahanna Jackson scored four points, grabbed eight rebounds, and dished out seven assists in the victory.
- Jackson now has 98 assists on the year. She needs two more to reach 100 for the first time in her career.
- Asia Durr led the team in scoring for the 10th time this season with 20 points, while also adding two assists, two steals, and one rebound.
