Men's Soccer Launches Winter Youth Skills Camp
November 01, 2016 | Men's Soccer
One day camp scheduled for January 2 at the Trager Center
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's soccer program is set to host its annual Winter Youth Skills Camp on January 2, 2017 from 9 am-Noon ET at the Trager Center. The camp is designed for boys ages 6-14, and is open to any and all applicants, limited by number, age, grade level and gender. Â The cost is $50 per camper.
Â
"It's all about fun and enjoyment and building relationships with our players," said Louisville head coach Ken Lolla. "What we've learned over the years is that while the youth players can go a lot of places to play soccer, learning the game from our guys and building those relationships is a huge reason why we have such high retention. Â They look up to our players on the field and out in the community, and so there's a lot of value in getting to play with them and be coached by them."
