Salazar, Rouanet and Morin-Kougoucheff post singles wins

Three University of Louisville men's tennis players picked up singles wins on day one of the USTA/ITA Futures Tournament Friday in Birmingham, Ala.

Santiago Salazar defeated Giovani Zabot Pasini 6-4, 6-3 while Christopher Morin-Kougoucheff picked up a 6-1, 6-1 win over Jiaqi Dian. Nicolas Rouanet defeated Hayes Brewer 6-1,6 -1.

"The guys made great adjustments to the clay courts and were able to win all their matches today," said UofL assistant coach Jakob Gustafsson. "Tomorrow will be a big test and a great opportunity for all of them."
