Cardinals Win Six Races at ACC/Big Ten Double Dual

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The No. 18 Louisville rowing team won six of its 12 races during Saturday's ACC/Big Ten Double Dual hosted by Ohio State at the Griggs Reservoir on the Scioto River.

During the morning session, the Cardinals earned five race wins against Michigan State from the varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity eight, second varsity four and second novice eight crews. In the afternoon session, Louisville's novice eight boat knocked off the No. 1 Buckeyes.

Louisville finished more than eight seconds ahead of the Spartans in each of the five morning wins. In their only loss to MSU, the Cardinals' novice eight crew was edged by less than one second at .44 seconds. That bounced back quickly in the afternoon to edge the top-ranked Buckeyes by .52 seconds.

Up next, Louisville will travel to Corvallis, Oregon for the Oregon State Invitational on April 4.
