Schmitt Named to TopDrawerSoccer Freshman Best XI

Schmitt scored team-leading seven goals and added four assists in first collegiate season
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - University of Louisville rookie forward Tate Schmitt was named Monday to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Freshman Best XI Second Team.
An ACC All-Freshman selection last month, Schmitt had an impressive collegiate debut scoring a team-leading seven goals and adding four assists in 13 starts and 19 appearances. A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Schmitt tallied four game-winning goals for the Cardinals and had his first two-goal performance in a victory over Memphis on Sept. 22.
