Men's Tennis Falls in ITA/All-American Doubles Qualifying Draw

Cards will begin doubles play in main draw Thursday

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Louisville's Courtney Lock and Sean Donohue completed play in the ITA All-American Doubles Qualifying Draw Wednesday evening.

"Small margins and a few key points decide the outcome of a doubles match at this level," said UofL assistant coach Jakob Gustafsson. "We made a few too many errors against a high quality team and that was enough for the loss."

While playing in the Qualifying Round of 32, junior Sean Donohue and freshman Courtney Lock fell 7-5, 6-3 to Tulane's Sebastian Rey and Constantin Schmitz.

More doubles action will follow Thursday when seniors Jeffrey Brown and Alex Gornet open play in the main draw.
