Player Notes
Senior Asia Taylor set new career-highs in points and rebounds against Rutgers finishing with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Taylor's previous highs were 23 points against LSU earlier this season and 13 rebounds against St. John's on March 4, 2012.
Taylor's double-double against Rutgers marks her fifth of the season and the eighth of her career. Her five double-doubles this season are tied for lead on the team.
Taylor's 15 rebounds against Rutgers are the most rebounds in a game by one player this season and the most since Monique Reid grabbed 15 rebounds against Seton Hall on Feb. 24, 2010.
Taylor set new career-highs in free throws made and attempted finishing 9 of 12 against Rutgers. Her previous highs were seven made twice this season and 10 attempted against Northern Iowa on Nov. 27, 2009.
Junior Sara Hammond finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds against Rutgers, her fifth double-double of the season and the 14th of her career. Her five double-doubles this season are tied for the lead on the team.
Junior Bria Smith went 1 of 2 from the free throw line against Rutgers, which moves her into a tie for seventh on the career free throws made list with Kristin Mattox.
