Foxhoven Named Conference Offensive Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Senior forward Zack Foxhoven of the No. 7 Louisville men's soccer team was selected on Monday as the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
Foxhoven (Littleton, Colo./UCLA) scored two goals and added one assist as the Cardinals extended their unbeaten streak to nine games last week with a midweek win over reigning NCAA champion Indiana and a 2-2 weekend draw against UConn. On Tuesday, Foxhoven connected for a goal and an assist as Louisville earned a dominating 3-0 win at IU, while on Saturday night, Foxhoven scored his second goal of the week as the Cardinals maintained their position atop the league standings with the draw.
Overall, Foxhoven has three goals and one assist this season for Louisville, which is 9-2-2 overall and 4-0-1 in American Athletic Conference matches with two weeks remaining in the regular season.
This is the fifth week this season Louisville has earned at least one of the weekly American Athletic Conference honors. On Oct. 7, Ricardo Velazco was chosen as Offensive Player of the Week and Jimmy Ockford was named Defensive Player of the Week. A week earlier, Joachim Ball was selected as Goalkeeper of the Week, Andrew Brody was named Rookie of the Week and Michael DeGraffenreidt was chosen as Defensive Player of the Week. On Sept. 23, Ockford was named Defender of the Week while on Sept. 2, Velazco was selected as Offensive Player of the Week.
