"I thought we played hard in stretches but the one thing we have to really work on is boxing out and rebounding. It was the only weakness I thought that we showed tonight. I thought we did some really good things on the defensive end. Our freshman played well and I was pleased with them. Hopefully we will get in a week of practice and then we will go up and play at NKU. That should be a real test for us, they're a very good basketball team. They played at Cincinnati on Saturday and won by four. They were up by 13 in the second half at one point. They were ranked preseason number one in the Division II Poll."

"They played at Miami on Friday and lost by 10, and they played at Florida State yesterday and lost by 14. They jumped in a couple of vans after the Florida State game and came up here. It was a good test for us and that's what exhibition games are for and to give some kids a chance to play. I was happy that we were able to have our freshman play as much as they did."
