
Women's Basketball Travels to Cincinnati on Wednesday

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team will play Cincinnati on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati. The game will be broadcast live on WKRD 790 AM or 101.7 FM with Jim Kelch and Adrienne Johnson calling the action.
Junior Angel McCoughtry leads the team in scoring and rebounding with 23.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. Candyce Bingham is second on the team in scoring and rebounding with 13.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game. Senior point guard Patrika Barlow leads the team and the league in assists with 7.0 per game.
Cincinnati enters the game with an overall record of 10-9 and a 1-6 record in league play. The Bearcats enter the game on a five game losing streak. Cincinnati is led in scoring by sophomore guard Kahla Roudebush. Roudebush leads the team with 15.9 points per game. Junior forward Jill Stephens is second on the team in scoring with 13.8 points per game. Stephens also leads the Bearcats on the boards with 9.7 rebounds per game.
The game will be the 55th meeting between the two teams. It is the longest conference series for the Cardinals. Louisville leads the series 31-23. Louisville has won the last two games against the Bearcats, including a 69-37 win on Jan. 15. The Bearcats have a 13-8 edge over the Cardinals in Cincinnati.
