No. 17 Washington Defeats Louisville Men's Tennis 4-1

SEATTLE - - The Washington Huskies' men's tennis team defeated No. 42 Louisville 4-1 on the second day of the Great Northwest Shootout Saturday at the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
The No. 17 Huskies jumped to the early 1-0 lead by winning the doubles point. Daniel Chu and Derek Drabble clinched the point with an 8-6 win in the No. 3 doubles. The No. 2 doubles team Ben Clos and David Simon fell to 35-ranked-Patrik Fischer and Michael Ricks 8-1 .
Washington's Kuharszky won 6-3, 6-2 over Simon at No. 3. Fischer defeated Chris Herrlinger 6-3, 6-4 at No. 6. Daniel Chu defeated Johnson 2-6, 7-6, 6-4 at No. 2.
Radman, No. 71 in the ITA singles rankings, picked Louisville's only point with a 6-3, 6-4 win over No. 98 Slovic at the top seed.
Louisville (5-4) will play Middle Tennessee Sunday at 1 p.m. on the final day of the Great Northwest Shootout.
