LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The University of Louisville women's basketball team hosted its annual media day activities Friday at Cardinal Arena to officially open the 2007-08 season. Head coach Jeff Walz and the Cardinal players discussed the upcoming season with members of the media.
On Thursday, the Cards were picked to finish sixth in the BIG EAST Conference in 2007-08 by the league's head coaches, while All-American Angel McCoughtry was selected as the 2007-08 BIG EAST Preseason Player of the Year by a vote of the league's 16 head coaches.
The Cardinals will open their exhibition slate on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. ET against the Indiana All-Stars at Freedom Hall. U of L will open the regular-season on Nov. 10 at Ball State.
