Colorado Springs, Colo. - Jazz Covington will be documenting her weekend at the USA Basketball Trials this weekend. Covington is one of 37 players invited to the prestigeous event competing for a spot on the World University Games Team.
Hey Cardinal Fans-
Colorado Springs is nice but not really that beautiful. I guess you have to be a mountain person to really appreciate it.
The Olympic Training Center on the other hand is off da heezy, pleez believe me!! It's a little confusing at first but hey it should be if you've never been.
I've met some of the top players in the country and I must say that they deserve to be in that category. We had practice today at 6pm and it was really hard for me. I swear I almost fainted...but I didn't. I pulled through it like the soldier that I am.
The team they put me on....get this: Ivory Latta (NC), Seimone Augustus (LSU), Alison Bales (Duke) were just a few of top players on my team...of course there is me too!
I'm really really tired right now and I am going to hit the hay....or for better words "go pass out!"
