"It is great to see Connie get recognized for what she has accomplished in the classroom," said head coach Tom Collen. "She has done a good job at balancing athletics, school and motherhood over the last year. We are proud of her accomplishments at the University of Louisville and we hope she continues to excel her senior year."
Neal saw action in all 30 games for the Cardinals. She finished the year averaging 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds per game. She will accept the award at the N4A Convention Award Luncheon in Raleigh, NC on June 12, 2005.
