Octavian Nicodim beat Chase Armstrong 6-1, 6-1 at No. 3 while Jeremy Clark topped Goncalves 6-1, 6-2 at the four-spot. "This was another good effort by our team," said U of L assistant coach Mark Beckham. "Eastern Kentucky came out a little flat, but we didn't let that affect us and we kept our level high. I think this will help prepare us for a very difficult match at Ball State on Wednesday. Hopefully we can do well there and push to close out our season on a high note."
