
Men's Tennis Falls to Tulsa 4-1

TULSA, Okla. - - The University of Louisville men's tennis team lost to Tulsa 4-1 Sunday at Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa.
The Golden Hurricane began the match by taking the doubles point. The team of Diego Camacho and Andy Connelly defeated Louisville's Damar Johnson and Slavko Radman 8-5 at No. 2 and Will Gray and Lucques Maasdorp beat Tony Teufel and Octavian Nicodim 8-2 at No. 3.
In singles action, Aleksander Charpantidis topped Radman 3-6, 6-2, 6-2 at the two spot. Ricardo Soriano picked up a 6-2, 5-7, 6-3 win over Nicolas Houard at No. 3. Frederico Soriano defeated Jeremy Clark 7-6, 6-4 at No. 4.
Louisville's Johnson registered a 6-7, 7-5, 6-4 win over Achim Roth for the Cardinals' only point of the match.
U of L (2-2) will travel to Athens, Georgia to take on the fourth-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on January 29.
