
Faber, Showell Have Strong Showings at Florida State Relays

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - University of Louisville senior Kelly Faber finished fourth in the heptathlon and freshman Aajah Showell placed sixth at the Florida State Relays in Tallahassee, Fla.
Faber tallied 4,886 points, the second highest total ever by a Cardinal in the event. She set personal records in four of the seven events, including a time of 14.62 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, the second fastest in school history and just .01 off the record.
Showell finished with 4,459 points, the 10th best in school history and the most by a UofL freshman. She also set the freshman record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.65, the third fastest by a Cardinal.
