
Missy Taylor Named Conference USA Player of the Week

Louisville, Ky. - Sophomore Missy Taylor was named Conference USA Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 19. Taylor finished the week averaging 19 points and 10 rebounds per game in the Cardinals' wins over Alabama State and Murray State. She tied a career-high with 23 points and pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds against Murray State for her second double-double of the season.
The 6-3 forward finished the week shooting and impressive 71.4 percent from the field and 62.5 percent from behind the three-point line. While playing a little over 20 minutes per game, Taylor averaged 4.5 assists and three blocks per game. Taylor leads the team in scoring with 16.7 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per game. She also leads the team from the three-point line, connecting on 38.3 percent.
