Louisville, Ky. - Former All-American Adrian Cann was named to the Conference USA All-Decade team. Conference USA is celebrating its 10th anniversary during the 2004-05 season. In conjunction, the league is naming a Team of the Decade for each of the conference's 19 sports. Voting on the All-Decade awards was done by each of the league's current Men's Soccer coaches.
Cann was the only Cardinal to be named a four-time first team All-Conference USA performer. The Ontario native finished his career as a two-time Co-Defensive Player of the Year selection (2002, 2003). As a senior he was named a second team All-American by College Soccer News and Soccer Times. He was also a three-time Great Lakes Region selection. As a freshman, he helped lead the defense to a school record 10 shutouts in 2000.
Cann finished his career as the most decorated player in school history and was the 16th pick of the 2003 MLS Draft by the Colorado Rapids.
