Sokolowski Earns Player of the Week Honors

Louisville, Ky. - Louisville's sophomore goalkeeper Brad Sokolowski was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Week. Sokolowski led Louisville to the Kentucky Invitational title this past weekend in Lexington.

On Friday, the Mattawan, Mich., native posted a 2-1 win over Butler, followed by 1-0 shutout of Central Florida for the championship on Sunday. For the weekend, Sokolowski made five saves, including three in the second half against UCF. Sokolowski was named to the all-tournament team.
