We just finished up a road trip to Cincinnati, and today I am enjoying my day off. The holiday break was full of hard work for the team, making today's break nice. Yesterday we had a tough loss to UC, but I think the team will bounce back and get stronger.
I went to get interviewed with Sara Nord this afternoon at WLKY. I do not have a lot of experience with television interviews, so it made me a little nervous being in the studio. In the end, It turned out fine. The segment is supposed to air next Sunday night after the 11 o'clock news, and hopefully everyone will tune in to see my big television debut.
Despite yesterday's loss to UC, I still feel that we are one of the top teams in the conference. Basketball is a game of ups and downs. It is about playing through your mistakes and learning from them. It is the time to come together as a team and regroup. It is easy to get down on yourself after a big loss, but you cannot dwell on it. You have to continue to work hard and prepare for the next game. Next weekend we play Houston and TCU at home, and I think that we will be in good shape for those games. C U there! Oh yeah, and Kim Graham says hi.
