Evansville, Ind. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team fell 1-0 to Fresno State on Sunday in the second round of the Pro-rehab Aces Classic. The Cardinals fall to 2-4-1 on the season.
Fresno State scored the lone goal in the 27th minute. Dan Oka scored off an assist from Makoto Anderson. The Cardinals were outshot by the Bulldogs 10-3. Louisville was playing without leading scorer Fernando Tolomelli. Tolomelli received a red card in yesterday's scoreless tie with South Carolina and was not eligible to play.
Cardinal keeper David Gisler collected to saves in the second period but the Cardinal offense could not score.
The Cardinals will host Western Kentucky on Wednesday, Sept. 25 in Cardinal Park at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free.
