
Men's Soccer's Adrian Cann Earns Another Honor

Louisville, Ky. - University of Louisville junior defender Adrian Cann was named a second team All-Great Lakes Selection today. This marks the third season that Cann was named to the regional team, and the first time in Louisville history a player has earned the honor for three consecutive years.
Cann saw action in every contest this season for the Cardinals, helping the U of L defense produce five shutouts and limit their final six opponents to just three total goals. Cann also became the first Cardinal to be named Co-C-USA Defensive Player of the Year this season. He was also a member of the All-Conference USA first team and helped guide the Cardinals to a third place finish this season.
This season Cann has become the most honored player in school history. Following is a list of all his accomplishments:
2002: Second team All-Great Lakes Region, Conference USA Co-Defensive Player of the Year, First team All-Conference USA
2001: Second team All-Great Lakes Region, First team All-Conference USA
