Hello again. Well unfortunately I have to begin this week's entry with the Vanderbilt trip. Not a good one to talk about....actually we are trying to forget it. But I will give them credit, they are a really good team, probably the best we have played. But we didn't come prepared. I think we learned a lesson from that game.
We did a lot of shooting in practice following that game.
Then we were able to get our confidence back up with two big conference wins this weekend. Thanks to all the fans that came out.
My roommate Kim scored a career-high 22 points in the East Carolina game. The night before we had an alumni dinner and she had four pieces of cheesecake. So she credits the cheesecake to the 22 points. She even hung a note on Sara White's door that said cheesecake = 22 points. Just so you know, Sara is in charge of our team meals on the road and we can't eat desserts....but now maybe things might change!
Then later on at the dinner Kim gets on the microphone and asked if any long legged women know where to buy jeans at? So if anyone out there knows a good place let me know so I can tell her. See I don't have that problem.
After Christmas break I got my monthly check, so instead of spending it on food and stuff of that nature I went out and bought myself an abtronic. And I have had it for two weeks now and I really think its working. I have been sharing it with my teammates. But most of them complain about it hurting.
Tomorrow we leave on a tough conference road trip. I am not looking forward to flying. I like it better when we take the buses.
We play Houston on Friday and last year they handed us one of our worse losses so it will be a chance to redeem ourselves. TCU is a tough team and it should be hard to play them on the road.
Well I gotta go to practice now...Take care.
