Men's Tennis Defeats Western Michigan

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The University of Louisville men's tennis team defeated Western Michigan 4-3 on Sunday at Western Michigan.
The Cards took the doubles point as the team of Tvrtko Kujundzic and Joachim Lien defeated Ryan Tomlinson and Ryan Maarschalk 8-6 at the top seed and Oliver Cantrell and Jake Kirts beat Christian Brattstrom and Fernando Garcia 8-4 at No. 3.
In singles action, Lien, Cody Conley and Matt Mayer notched wins for U of L. Lien defeated Steve Pillon 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 at No. 2, Conley beat Maarschalk 6-2, 6-4 at No. 5 and Mayer defeated Brattstrom 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.
Louisville (16-4) will travel to Columbus, Ohio to face No. 24 Ohio State on March 28.
