Fort Worth, Texas - The University of Louisville men's soccer team fell to TCU 2-1 Sunday afternoon at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium. With the loss the Cardinals' season is ended finishing seventh in the conference standings.
The teams were pulled off twice for rain delays.
The Horned Frogs got on the board early scoring in the 15th minute of action. Midfielder Nick Browne scored off an assist from Dustin Sitar to Bobby Montes. Senior forward George Zabaneh knotted the score up in the 69th minute, scoring an unassisted goal.
With just two minutes left in regulation, TCU's Sitar hooked up with Browne again to score the game-winning goal.
TCU's keeper corraled nine saves to secure the win. Senior keeper Jeremy Morales logged two saves for the Cardinals. Louisville outshot TCU 23-9.
