Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team Fell 2-0 to Cincinnati Thursday night in Cardinal Park. The Cardinals fall to 5-8-1 on the season.
Cincinnati's Josh Gardner scored off a free kick for the Bearcats at the 26:42 mark to put Cincinnati ahead 1-0 at the half. The Bearcats scored again in the 53rd minute when Jeremiah Gallegos sent a ball into the box and forward Shane Curran scored in the lower right corner of the net.
Cardinal keeper Jeremy Morales collected five saves and UC's Sacha Nathu had two on the evening.
The Cards will travel to Saint Louis to take on the Billikens on Sunday.
