Las Vegas, Nev. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team defeated San Diego State 2-0 for their sixth shutout of the season. Louisville improves to 7-3 and San Diego State falls to 4-6 on the season.
The game was scoreless at the end of the first period. Louisville outshot San Diego State 8-2 in the first period.
Louisville's Justin Prather scored the go ahead goal in the 83rd minute of play. Prather headed the ball in off a pass from Courtenay Commander. Less than three minutes later, George Zabaneh scored off a cross shot from Shawn Faria.
Morales collected four saves for his sixth shutout of the season.
Louisville will now face host UNLV for the championship of the UNLV Soccer Invitational on Sunday.
