
Men's Soccer Kicks Off Classic This Weekend

Louisville, Ky. - The University of Louisville men's soccer team will host the Louisville Soccer Classic tomorrow in Cardinal Park. The first game will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a Central Florida and Evansville matchup. Then the Cardinals will take on No. 19 Akron at 7:30 p.m.
The Cardinals enter the Classic with an overall record of 3-2 and Akron holds a 1-1-2 record. Louisville enters tomorrow night's game on a two-game win streak. The Cardinals defeated California 3-0 on Sunday and Xavier 5-0 on Tuesday.
Akron tied Portland 2-2 on Saturday and fell to Washington 3-0 on Sunday.
The classic will resume on Sunday at noon with Akron and Evansville squaring up and then the Cardinals taking on Central Florida at 2:30 p.m.
Just a friendly reminder Cardinal Fans: I-65 South will be closed over the weekend and if you plan on attending the games you must use an alternate route.
