The University of Louisville men's and women's swim team swept Xavier in a dual meet in Cincinnati. Both teams won 66-29.
"We swam well and it was a nice win for us," said head coach Rick Hill.
For the women, the Cardinals won seven of the 11 races. Colleen O'Connor won the 100 breast, with Jodi Fretz winning the 100-fly and Brooke Morgan taking the 400-IM. The women won both relays.
The men won nine of 11 races including both relays. Among the winners for the Cardinals was Gary Raketich (1000-free), Chris Koutsouridis (50-free), Nils Lofgren (100-back) and Jason McCarthy (500-free).
